Translations of XSane´s texts
All texts generated by XSane and by the backends can be translated. XSane uses gnu gettext
for translating the texts and preparing the translation tables. There may be some
problems with special character sets - but this will be fixed if it is verified.
For XSane there are already maintained translations for:
brasilian-portuguese, chines, czech, danish, dutch, french, german, hungarian, italian, japanese,
portuguese, russian, romanian, slovak, spanish, turkish, vietnamese
.
The following translations are currently unmaintained, if you are interested in
keeping it up to date then please contact
me:
slowenian, swedish, serbian

If you like to add support for a new language for XSane then
please read the instructions in the XSane source code. If you have any
problems or you have a working translation table (*.po) please contact
me.
Translations of documentation
The translations of the documentation are created by other authors.
They may not be up to date all the time so if you have any problems with
this documentations please read the
original english doc.
